#5 Previsualization

Adobe Premiere was the highlight of the entire project; this is the editing software of our decade, if not the year (with the exception of it's sibling program Adobe After Effects of course) although it didn't consume the entire experience itself, it was extremely helpful. The sound wasn't of much use because the H4N wasn't all that simple to figure out at first. Only after shooting the entire program was I able to figure out how the wee little mechanism worked. Premiere stole the show, especially because of its versatility shown through the enormous amount of effects it had; this included transitions for some of the shots, and the overlaying options for the clips which helped the sound flow smoothly.

Vox Pops/Expert Interview

The experience was interesting yet there were a few tiny things that altered the progress of the final shoot. Although the light kit wasn't needed at all, the interview went very well. If it wasn't for the exterior light that shined through the window, the DP wouldn't have captured the perfect shots preceded by an exemplary interview. The old woman whom was our interviewee had the most outrageous personality. Overall, the experience was fantastic. Everybody was really nice about the idea of having the chat set-up, more importantly the usage of equipment in the restaurant. Brenda taught us a lot of things about the area, including history regarding.
